日前（3/20），HTC宣佈Desire 12 / 12+正式推出，兩機分別為採用5.5與6吋的18:9全螢幕手機，屏幕解像度為1440 x 720高清。定位為入門中階機的Desire 12 / 12+，背蓋以耐用的壓克力玻璃材質打造的流線型，加上無邊縫外框及曲面邊框，為用戶提供良好的使用經驗。
規格方面，Desire 12配備八核心MTK MT6739處理器、2GB RAM/16GB ROM與3GB RAM/32G ROM兩種；而Desire 12+則配備高通Snapdragon 450八核心處理器、3GB RAM、32G ROM。相機方面，Desire 12前置為500萬像素，後置擁有1300萬像素鏡頭，至於Desire 12+的後置鏡頭，為1300 萬像素與200萬像素雙鏡頭，支援景深效果，前置則為500 萬。
另外，兩機皆保留3.5mm耳機接口，並支援藍牙4.2。其中Desire 12為雙 4G SIM 卡設計，Desire 12+ 則為單 SIM 卡設計。電池方面，Desire 12電池為2730mAh，充電速度只有 5V/1A；而Desire 12+則有2965mAh電量，支援5V/1.5A充電，充電接口為microUSB 2.0。
